I sold a trizantine bracelet to a woman at my brother's basketball game last night. She'd seen me making stuff the game before and asked me a couple questions about it.
And this game she asked if I wasn't going to make jewelry again, and I said it depends on how good the game is. That got a few laughs from her, her mom and my mom.

So like, after the tip off (or whatever you call the beginning of a basketball game) I sat on the belachers and constructed my trizantine bracelet out of black rubber, silver and purple alimunum rings. (looks like this.)
I'd pre-counted the rings (56 silver, 28 purple, 28 black rubber, 112 total) based on my other four trizantine bracelets. I was wearing one at tht eime so I knew how many rings I'd need to make it fit just right. And I had a few extras just in case I dropped one. (I did.)
So some time in the third quarter I finished the bracelet. It would have taken me less time if I hadn't been distracted by the game going on a few feet away from me.
But before I could even try the thing on, the lady's mom wanted to see it (they both loked the various chains I was wearing) so I let her look. then the lady looked at it and asked how much I would charge for one.
Due to them being people we've known for a few years, I knocked a couple dollars off the price before I even told her how much I'd sell it for.
I said ten bucks, normally I'd charge 12-15 for a trizantine bracelet.
So the two women went digging through their pruses for the ten dollars, and I got a various assortment of ones, quarters, dimes, nickles and pennies. They actually overpaid by one cent. (I treid to gove it back but she refused.)
The downside? Now I have to make another silver and purple trizantine bracelet for myself.

So now I've sold two chainmaille items. One to a lady at work, another to a basketball mom for her niece.

I have work training today... and I should have been in bed five (or six...) hours ago. I'm so dumb.
In other news, I FINALLY got the gryphon exchange pic done, now I just need to finish up the species exchange one.
And I did a lot of "getting back into the mood" sketches, cause I haven't drawn anything in a while thatw as good, so I kinda got back into my lazy mood. I'll probably scan all those after I finish that exchange pic and post it somewhere.

OH YEAH! And I missed the basketball game because I was playing Morrowind and Hitman 2, and I suck at the last one quite a bit.

I made a purple and black German Shepherd tail last night and today. I'd drawn up a concept for the fur I bought, then went ahead and threw together the tail first. It's got a slight curve in it, and becaude of that, it doesn't hang completly straight, but I am happy with it. The purple fur is sooooo soft! I lurve it!

I don't have any decent pics of the tail or of the GSD concept. I just re-used some of my old pics.... I do that sometimes.
So, since I coulnd
t get my hands on some of the grey fur for my heyna, I am just goung to make a German Shepherd partial out of the purple fur and the striped stuffs (after I sharpie the heck out of it!!!)
It's going to be a girl, and her name is gonna be Amethyst because those pruple rocks are cool and they are just about the same color. Her left eye is going to be green and her right eye is going to be blue. Her inner ears are gonna be different colors too. Line green for the right and Teal/blue for the left. Her pawpads are teal/blue and her claws are going to be lime green. (I may change all that to orange though.....)

She's an extreme Suns fan (WHOOT! GO SUNS!!!, and not just because she's pruple and black. She AWLAYS has on a shirt that is either orange or has it on there somewhere and wears baggy jeans/cargo pants. (just like all my other fursuits!)
She's going to have some percings, like, a few hoops and/or industrial barbel thingys. Those are gonna be silver and orange.
She's a total tomboy, loves asparagus, garlic and steak, and loves to play frisbee. Sometime's she'll wear a necklace, but only if it reflects the Suns in some way.
She's very bouncy and outgoing, and loves to give out hugs to people who will take them.
I can't think of anything else.......

OH! My older sister and my mom made us (my siblings and I) some Phoenix Suns shirts that we are going to wear downtown tonight. We don't have tickets to the game, but were gonna find a place that's playing it and watch with all the other not-uber-rich-super-fans that go downtown tonight.
I hope it's gonna be fun, and I really hope the Suns win...

RRRRARRRGH! Two of the Suns players got banned from tomorrows game for standing and setpping four feet onto the court from the bench when some idiot Spurs jerk shoved Nash into a table/wall thingy! FRICKING A MAN! WHY DID THEY HAVE TO BAN STOUDEMIRE AND DIAW!?!?!?!?!?! THEY WERE JUST REACTING TO WHAT THAT FREAK HORRY DID TO NASH!!! Gosh. At least frisking Horry got banned from TWO games...

In other news...
I went to Jo-Anns today to pick up some grey fur for my hyena fursuit and they had NO fur! Well, they did have some fur, but it was really bad stuff that's not even worth looking at.
There wasn't even any pink fur! They always have pink fur, and there was none left at all! There was this blue stuff that was accually kinda cool, but it was in the "cosmo girl" section and it wasn't on sale. ($20.00) I found some meduim-long pile pruple fur for $5 a yard, but that was it for the fur. They have always had the grey, TONS of pink, purple, some color with tinsle in it and some of that fur with either red, pruple or teal as the base color and grey for the tips.
Anyone else's Jo-Anns replace their better furs for cheap junk like mine?

The foam was a good deal, and now I won't run out for a while now ^^
