I fixed my grandpa's watch today. Well, it wasn't broken to begin with, but the little strap that you put the strap through th keep it from sticking out when you wear the watch broke, so I found a way to fix it. My dad's old Swiss Army watchband had two of those little strapbands on it, so I took one off and put it on my grandpa's watch. And now I am wearing it until my grandpa and grandpa come over for dinner. It's a nice watch too, with gold on it. OOH! I bought some aviators today! First my mom, little sister and I went o kholes to see fi they could find a bathing suit for the sister. No luck, but I went because I got my last now broken paiur of sunglasses there and I loved them. No luck for eitehr of us. Next we went o Big 5 and I decided to look at the sunglasses. Normally I don't because they are almost always way too light or sporty looking. Don't get me wrong, I like the sporty ones. Just not the light sporty ones they always have. Well, I spun the rack around and saw the aviators! I looked at them for a bit and saw there were two kinds. They were the same style and very mirrored (I love mirrors) but one had silver rims and the other had dark grey. The aviators were darker than the ones I had with me (broken) so I got the ones with the silver rims. No luck with the bathing suit for the sis. Then we went to sears and found a bathing suit, but I was happy with my aviators and let everyone know. WHOOT! And I made a byzantine bracelet with my new smaller rings last night. It was fun and I am going to make three more later. Tags: aviators, bathing suit, chainmaille, sunglasses, watch Current Mood: excited
