Uhh...

So I drove down to Grant's Pass oregon yesterday to meet my mom and grandpa who'd driven up to unload a truck of stuff. Mom's moving there by the way.
Anywho, the whole drive through oregon stank. Litterally. It was rank. That sucked majorly. So I get to GP, meet up with Mom and whatnot (I really didn't want to drive in this dumb place by then) but I drive anyways and right off the bat decide I don't like it there. I know that sucks but my first impression of TURN HERE NO WAIT DON'T TURN THERE ONE WAY STREET!!!!!! wasn't fun.

It was hot and sunny but didn't smell as bad as the rest of oregon had. Stupid state. Oh, and the drivers there are fucking bonkers. They either SUPERSPEEDOMGGOTTAGETTHERENOW! Or they... don't go anywhere at all? I'm still not sure what was going on.

But yeah. Drove around GP for a while, went and had "dinner" (it was 3:00 PM) then drove back to stupid little vancouver. OH! And since it was oregon I couldn't pump my own gas. That pissed me off. I really didn't want anyone touching my Jeep unless they has my permission. That was shitty.
So like, the drive up didn't stink as bad as the drive down but the drivers were 10 times worse. Mom got into arguments with me and stuff because first I wasn't "letting" someone in, then I shouldn't have "let" them in, blah blah blah. If someone is going to end up in my hood I am going to fucking slow down. Same with the trunk, I'll speed up. I hate changing my speed (if its on cruise control) because of other retards trying to "beat" me into my own lane.

Ugh. I'm still qute tired. I kinda wish we'd stayed there overnight so I wouldn't be so exausted. But before I knew I was going to drive down to get Mom and my grandpa so they could fly out of portland I was going to "help" my aunt get some stupid bricks for her yard. She didn't want them all in her car or something retarted like that.
But now that I'm here, even though I'm still really tired and really want to go back to bed (I took Mom and my grandpa to the airport) my aunt is all OH YOU CAN STILL COME OVER AND HELP ME GET MY BRICKS YAY! Seriously, yay is what she said. I really don't want to. At all. That means taking shit out of my Jeep so I can fit her fucking bricks back there.

I really wish I had some money so I could go to Colorado as soon as school ends. I fucking hate it up here.

My bad day was followed by a good day that was followed by a so-far meh day.
On the bad day Fred and I hung out for a while after class. We went mini-golfing in the rain and did some other fun things that helped me cool off a bit.
Yesterday we just hung out in-beteeen (and during) class then went to subway and dairy queen with another guy he knows.

Anywho, my Mom flew up here yesterday. She's down in Grant's Pass right now but she stopped by the welding shop to say hi and to meet Fred. We watched her park the car she'd rented (and laughed at her terrible job) then talked for a bit.

So like, something I haven't mentioned is how Fred and I want to go on a road trip after school ends. We're not sure where to exactally but we know it ends in Colorado.

While my Mom was here yesterday we talked about some stuff and I mentioned how I didn't want to stay in Washington. Like, at all. She asked where I wanted to go then guessed before I could reply. So Mom found out about how I want to go to Colorado and was totally cool about it! She basically gave me permission to go wherever I want as long as I get a job and start paying for stuff myself. How awesome is that?

On a side note, I feel like I'm not breathing all too well. It's been like this for about a week. I was coughing (the kind that hurts and sounds horrid) all day yesterday and screwing up my welds and right now I feel as if I've been standing in a pinecone smoulder all month. Not cool at all.

Not a good day at all. Hmm, now that I think about it, all of last week's mornings from Monday-Thursday were shitty.
But today, I felt like pakcing up at 9:00 and driving off to Canada or something just to see if I could get in.

So here's why my day has been crap so far.

1. I didn't want to get up.
2. When I did get up, I had the stupidest and most strange headache ever.
3. The welding shop was cold.
4. 6010 is pure crap.
5. Only ONE of the welds I did today kinda-maybe looked good.
6. I dropped a chunk of metal right on top of my knee. It still hurts.
7. The electrodes kept sticking to the metal.
8. Undercut is a bitch.
9. 6010 fumes smell disgusting.
10. Another student (a convict no less) kept wanting to use my grinder then would stick around and talk.
11. I couldn't breathe all too well and still feel kinda sick.
12. I caught on fire. FUCKING TWICE!
13. I got so mad I actually punched a brick wall. Thankfully I held back a bit.

Yep. And that's been my day so far.

Oh, and my computer just went fuck-up on me a minute ago. Plus the rain (and this whole state) is getting on my nerves. I think today is going to repeat itself for the rest of the semester. The morning class was cool when I was learning how to use stick but now that I know what I'm doing it's just repedative, obnoxious and infuriating. I really don't think I can do two more semesters of fucking morning classes.

So, life is good. Much better than before actually.

I've got a friend now, I know that sounds super lame but it's true. I hung out all last and before last weekend with him. (And inbetween classes lol.)

We went to see a couple movies, threw a football around with another guy he knows, drove around a bird sanctuary, took a lot of walks, went to some neat-o waterfalls and a fish hatchery (my sunglasses fell into the sturgeon pond, had to stick my arm a foot into the water to get them. 10 foot fish were in there O_O) went to dinner a couple times, had some Carls Jr. burgers (BIG burgers, I finished first XD) watched a recording of the 1998 superbowl, watched Eddie Izzard standup comedy and a couple other movies and neat car TV shows.
Yesterday we put the seats back into his old Bronco II. That was fun. Then we patched up a hole in my Jeep's roof and have further plans for stuff to do to it. (And the Bronco.)

A lot of stuff with one guy you say? Well, one could say he's my boyfriend now. (Yes brother, if you are reading this, I'm not joking.) He's gonna try to teach me how to play bass, how cool is that?
Only not-cool thing is that he's moving to Colorado at the end of the semester. That kinda sucks but we've got plans to have lots of fun before he leaves. WHOOT!

Oooooh and he gave me this Bronco's (football team) jacket to keep for a while. I wore it into the welding shop today and a Raiders fan wanted to set it on fire >_<
Dumbass Raiders fan can't go setting that jacket on fire without SERIOUS consequences. From both me and my friend, heh.

AND he introduced me to this stuff. This awesome stuff called Fajita sauce. You have to get some and put it into mac n' cheese. Sooooo good.

He's got kinda spiky hair that sticks out from under the hat so without the hat it sticks up and outish.
He looks like an anime character without the hat. I was like HOMG I CAN DRAW ANIME-LOOKING WOLF DUDES? It was a funny occurence.
I drew up another character as well. Not saying anything about this one because it's a "secret" for my will-it-ever-launch comic.
Also practiced drawing wings. I suck at those nearly as bad as drawing hats.

TIG is awesome.

Done with overhead! Whoo! Didn't set myself on ifre though I did get a nasty burn on my leg from the welding gun...
Anywho, I've been working on Vertical V grooves now. Spent almost the entire class last night figuing out that damn track burner and cutting and beveling metal with anouther guy. After we got the thing working right, I set the metal in the right posistion, heated it, cut it, then he would knock the slag off and cool it down. We cut 10 pieces of metal and got 5 each. It worked out pretty well.

TIG AFTER NEXT WEEK WHOOOT! Sooo excited, I really wanna try TIG...

Yeah. We had some crazy crazy fog last night. Oh, I ran into Joe from my German class last semester and gave him a ride home inbetween my day and evening classes. We talked a bit, it was neat seeing him again.
But that fog! OMG it was thick in the morning, burned off a bit during the day and was KILLER THICK at night. Worph I don't wanna drive through fog like that again. Gosh darned headlights made everything worse. I would have driven with the lights off if cops didn't exist, but there were a lot of them out last night.

Oh, and I'm looking for a 87-96 Jeep Cherokee radio cassette deal. I have no idea where to find one.
I don't want a fancy radio unit, just a stock Cherokee radio with a cassette deck. Anyone know where to find something like that?

So I like, got an A+ on my vertical T weld on Thursday. That was pretty cool. I used dual sheild on it, smoother and not as noisy as hard wire. Not as much spatter as well. Gotta knock the slag off afterwards though... that crap is hot.
I get to to overhead welds next week. That should be fun, and potentially firey. If I catch on fire, I just might. Some of the guys in my class have done that already. Heh...

So! What is up with me? Nothing. Not much really, I may get together with some people in my blueprint class on Sunday to do a study group thing to get our homework done. As a group, so all our answers will be the same? Yes, should be... edjucating.

OH, whadda think about my new icon? It's a picture I got in the gryphon exchange when I actually participated.

So I head out to my Jeep to go to the craft store, get in, stick in the key, turn it... nothing.
No clicks, no sounds whatsoever.
I hadn't driven it for a couple days so if I did leave something on, it had a while to drain the battery.

Okay...

Angry me calls everyone back in Phoenix, NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONES. I finally call my Grandma's house, everyone is there. I end up talking to my Mom's manfriend and he tell me to clean the connections and try to jump start it.
K.
Do that, then call my aunt who comes over to help me jump the Jeep.
My cables are apparently inferior. The Jeep turned over but didn't catch, then the activity kinda dwindled down to nothing. So we try grandma's cables, the Jeep turns over a few times then FINALLY starts. All this took like, 30 minutes.

So I call back to Phoenix, talk to the manfriend again, he says either drive it around or let it run for 30 minutes and to a little driving. Check the battery to see if there's water in it or it won't charge. So I do that, yep, water (acid?) so now it's sitting in the side yard just idling. I can see it from my window now. I'm going to go out and drive it around a bit, come back here, shut it off then see if it'll start again. If it does I'll go to the store or something.

Dumb. I probably left something on. Either the seat warmer, interior lights or... who knows. I don't leave the headlights on because the Jeep makes angry sounds if they are on when I open the door. Meh. I really hope the battery isn't like, really dead for real.

Lovebirds in Phoenix.

Not a new thing, but I was reading up on Budgies and other parrots when I remembered the Lovebirds in my old neighborhood.
The first time I saw one it was a really long time ago. Dad told us to come out and look at the parrot, so we did. All I remember was it was green and up really high.
A couple years later more of them showed up. Then more, and more, and over the years the Lovebirds has become a regular sight. They lived in the plam trees across the street and made all kinds of annoying sounds. They sounded a lot like the Falcons that would catch Pigeons sometimes, so ocassionally one would chirp and the Pigeons would all freak their minds.
Kinda funny.

When I was at home I was thinking of places I'd like to visit. Not like a vacation, go there and spend a month or two exploring and whatnot. And I was thinking of places I'd like to live later on. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'll stay in the U.S. It's really not that appealing to me, but I still have yet to find out where I'd like to go.

First off, some the places I'd like to visit are: Australia, the Hawaiian Islands, Germany, Alaska...

Maybe I'll do that. Start saving up for a plane ticket and whatever I'll need wherever I go and when I get enough, I'll take a semester off (if I get enough before I'm done with school) and hit the skies. Sounds fun to me.
OR I could wait until school's done, save up a ton of money then do one trip after another. Hehehehehehehe, I have odd plans.
I really do want to go to Australia though. I wanna see some Kangaroos.

But yeah. I could totally have Budgies again. I keep saying I'll never have them, but I really like the little buggers. Maybe once I'm on my own and done with traveling I'll get some again. They were pretty fun, just incredibly noisy and obnoxious.

RANT OF THE... day?

I drew a gryphon! I drew a gryphon! I drew a gryphon, and you did not!
http://messerschmitt.artspots.com/image/27796

On to real life.

So I have a slight dilemma. In both my welding blueprint class AND my wirefeed/TIG class there is this guy. I have no idea how old he is, all I know is that we share similar interests. He's like a redneck, only more polite?
Before class began Thursday evening we hung out and talked for a while. He, of course, (guys always ask me this for some reason), asked if I have/had a boyfriend. No, I haven't, and I won't until I am fucking DONE with college. Unless I meet someone like my sister's boyfriend, he's awesome and he'd be mine if he wasn't already hers.

Anywho, I think he likes me WAAAAAY too much for only have MET me for three days. He don't even "know" me yet. Heck, I don't even know me yet.

Here's the problem. He's already completed the welding program, had a job, got laid off, and is back in school just to have something to do. So he already knows everything that us newbies are learning. He's acting as the instructor's aid or something.
So Thursday night He was driving me crazy, but I didn't say anything about it. I am an INCREDIBLY PERSONAL person. I LOOOVE me PERSONAL space, and he gave me none. The booths that we weld in are like, 6 feet wide (maybe less...) and about 8 feet deep. Not a whole loot of room once you put a big 'ol welding machine and a table in there.
He decided to "teach" me how to weld that night. I fucking know how to weld, just not incredibly well. He was in my booth "watching" me almost the entire class because no one else would let him watch them. That really drove me crazy.
I mean, he set up the machine for me, I wanted to do that, to get good at it, ya know? Then he dragged another stool in there and sat pretty fucking close to me whenever he was watching.

I'm not done yet, here's the best parts.
He was fucking SHOWING ME off. Not particularly my welds, they were kinda the best in the class, but he was going around saying Buster did this, Buster did that. I HATE that. Didn't tell him though because I don't like making people feel bad. It was kinda funny when someone walked up to me and told me to stop throing off the curve, and another guy who said he heard I was a kickass welder but that's not the point.
This guy says he's going to turn me into an awesome welder. Shit, I already am if I had the best welds in the class (of the newbs). I'm the youngest and ONLY girl in that class so yeah, that says a lot.

Okay okay, here we go. The big shot. While I was welding, nervously mind you, I HATE being watched, this guy fucking touched my back. MORE THAN ONCE!
Note that he knows I am not interested in ANY sort of relationship except for kinda freinds with people, KINDA freinds. I'm not into the whole freind thing if they are too fucking old to even have been in school at the same time as I was. (grade/high school.)
He doesn't know that I am NOT a touchy person. There is only ONE person at the entire college who can tap my back and not have it come off as too fucking far to me and that is Sam. He does that to everyone as a greeting thing, I dunno.
So this guy does that a couple times. I made the excuse of getting up to get a drink when he did just to get out of the booth for a bit. Again, I really don't want to snap at him but shit, that's way too much for me. Coaching me when I'm first learning how to weld is fine, but once I'm not going to blow anything up, I WANT MY FUCKING SPACE!

Sorry if I seem uber angrysnappy, I really am at the moment.

Okay, before I knew he was fucking weird like this we exchanged phone numbers. SHIT! So when class is over, I'm on the road and I have a strict policy of NEVER answering the phone or even reading text while I'm driving. Plus it's illegal in Washington to do that. (I wrote washing lol)
He sends me a text. Here is is: Send me a text when you get back so I now you got home okay.

OH MY FUCKING GOD.

No one ever does that. No one, not even my grandma. She'll call and ask where I am if I don't come home before 11 if I didn't tell her I'd be out later than that but that's it.
I can't stand that. He wanting to make me an awesome welder is fine if he stays the fuck out of my booth the ENTIRE class. But no, he turns out to be a furcking wackjob. (He's had like, 4 girlfriends or something? Now I can kinda see why he don't have one no more.)

Alright. So the second I get home, well, not the second I get home, I called my mom. (I texted the guy just so he wouldn't fucking bug me while I called my mom.)
I tell Mom EVERYTHING. As soon as I drove my Jeep into a dicth, I called Mom before I even got out to see if I broke anything. So of course, I call and tell Mom about a potential stalker I have just found at school. (Didn't use those words...) I explained the day to her, how my classes went, then got right to the point with the guy. I described the shit that went on to her and she told me that if he does anything to make me uncomfertable I should either kindly put him off or just be like, BACK OFF FUCKER! She didn't say that, but it's how her other option translated to me.
We talked about that for a while. She said for the time being I should just play it by ear until I get a better understanding of what he's after.

I know for sure that if he tries anything I will not heasitate to punch him in the face. Anything more than what would get someone a punch in the face from me, I'd pull my knife on 'em. Yes, I would do that at school. In less than a second. I have no problem carrying one or using one to defend myself, I may not know how to do it properly but I sure as hell can throw a fucking knife and hit whatever I'm aiming at.

So yesterday he texted me three times. Once he asked how many texts I got a month. I honestly have no idea, I already told him I didn't know, and I know it's not very many, so I told him I don't get mnay at all. I forget what the next text was and the last one he asked if he coud call me later. Uhh, fucking no. I made up some BS about having to help move some crap around, how I'd be busy the entire weekend, oh, and my aunt was over, so no. Don't fucking call me.
Actually, most of that is true. The moving the boxes and the aunt thing.

And today he calls me. Around like, 11:30 so of course I'm still asleep. I look at the phone, oh shit it's him. I wasn't going to answer it but I did just so he wouldn't call again. He, the guy who already went through all the welding classes at Clark, was having trouble with his blueprint homework.
What. The. Fuck.
Sure, okay. He asked me if I had done any of mine yet, no, I haven't. He apparently wanted me to help him with it but since I hadn't done it yet I couldn't. Plus I was "busy", so I wouldn't have anyways.
So after he keeps talking for like, 3 minutes, He finally stops and lets me get back to "work".

Then he calls again, not too long ago. I didn't answer it this time. He left a message, something about he's driving somewhere and wanted to know if we could hang out and do homework, or something. HehehehehehehHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! no.

Mom said that if we did end up hanging somewhere other than the college, I would ALWAYS drive and we'd always go somewhere well populated. I wouldn't want to "hang" anyways. Joe had a hard enough time getting me to hang with him last semester.

Speaking of Joe, if I got all my homework done quick (didn't even do any yet) I'd ask him if he wanted to do something just to aviod the other guy. Honestly, I could take Joe out into the woods and he'd be scared and hiding behind me the entire time. He wouldn't even think about doing anything with me, he knows I can kick his ass. This other guy though, he's big. Taller than my brother I believe, and somewhat fattish.

My brother overheard Mom and I talking last night and said he'd come down and kick the guy's ass if he bugged me enough. Good to know my brother cares about me. (I knew that though. He and I are partners in crime, it would take a lot to not have him come up and kick someone's ass for me.)

WHEEEEEEEE! All in all, I'm going to see how next week goes. I've got two days of blueprint class and three of wirefeed. Wait, three days total, but some classes are on the same day. Shit. Anyway, I wouldn't bother leaving on a jet plane in the middle of the semester to get away from him if he went too far. Yeah I'd get back marks on my grade but I can always take the class again.

SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THIS?? It makes me really want to meet some furries around here. I know I'd feel safer around a bunch of furs than most of the people in my class.

We got around 2 inches of snow in a couple hours. It was there most of the night but when I woke up it had all been rained away.
Classes start tomorrow for me, since I've got nothing on Monday. Speaking of Monday, I accidentally didn't get off before the bridge so I ended up driving around trying to get to the shopping center near Ikea, but I gave up and went back across the bridge. Took like, 30 minutes to do all that due to the traffic on the bridge on the way back.

Heh, I drew a picture of a dude with a gun. Looks kinda funny, maybe I'll scan and digitalize it later when I think about it. Got more pictures to scan and whatnot, but I like that one mor than some of the others.

WHAAAAAAG driving in snow is fricking SCARY!
I was in Phoenix for a couple days after flying down. Went to see The Day The Earth Stood Still with my bro, we rented Dead Space and bought Fable II. Dead Space is... thrilling. Not scary just WTF? I KILLED YOU!!! DIE ALREADY!!! and WHERE DID I YOU COME FROM?!?!?!
I got chopped in half a couple times. That game isn't all too awesome, but the storyline is pretty sweet. I wanted to know how it ended but I decided I wanted to see my college sis in Flagstaff and the opportunity opened up on the 13th so up we went. It was snowing lightly when we got there but none had stuck yet.
It snowed the rest of the day and that night, but it was sunny the next day (my birthday!) so me, my sis and her bf went hiking in Sedona. That was sweet.
We went to Snowbowl for my sis's training after we got some chains for the Honda (gosh did they make a difference) then over the next few days we some deserts, some awesome fajitas, some spiffy chili and nifty fifty chicken jazz. Today my sis is working at Cold Stone pretty much all day so I decided to go downtown and walk around.
I took the Honda.

The poor Honda was sliding all over the place due to the roads not having been plowed in some time. Plus it was snowing kinda heavily. Thankfully I didn't hit anyone or have anyone hit me, and I found as easy to park in space. I walked around for a bit, got some peanut brittle, got a mini Nalgene for my youngest bro, got some coffee then headed back to the apartment. I put the Honda in 2nd the entire way back and didn't slip one bit. That was very nice.

Then I went to Coldstone and got some free ice cream then came back. I fucking hate typing on a laptop by the way. I keeps skipping all over the place and screwing everything up.
So... I'm not sure when I'm going back to Phoenix, I hope I'll get to do some boarding before I go. Anywho, time to vacuum the carpet and scan some books so my sis can take them back.

Hmm, I forgot to write up what I got for my pre-birthday!

Everyone gave me cards, I got $10 from my aunt, I got vent visor things for my Jeep and a Jeep hat from my other aunt and I got a printer! Whee! No more e-mailing stuff to print over to my grandma's computer.
The printer is a scanner/printer/copier/photoprinter deal. It's pretty cool.

So last night I was fooling around with printing 4x5's off it. I did one of my Jeep to take home so I don't miss it too much.
Anywho, I decided to do a couple "test prints" of the four pictures I've done in the past month. Lets just say they are even awesomer on photopaper! The printer didn't screw up the colors like most printers do and the detail is nifty. Now I'm able to carry around pictures of my finished digital drawings intead of just a sketch!

I also put the vent visors on my Jeep today and it now looks a bit better.

I drewed some pikchures.

The first one is a Jackal. She has a very small part in my story. Very very small (well, not that small). But she's a scheemer, and a merchant who cons people into buying worthless crap disguised as cool crap. Mean Jackal she is, yes. She's the half-sister of another character who is slightly more important. I did this one a couple days ago, I hate the feets.

And this one is a Fox. A white Fox, with an addiction to bright colors. She dyed her hair, ear tips and tail tip and paints her claws and wears bright (and black) obnoxious clothing and jewelry. She is a secondary character (in the first part) but plays a biggish part. She also has a big sniper rifle that is not pictured, if that gives you a clue as to what she does *evil laugh*

Her legs suck but the feet came out better than the Jackal's. And HOLY FRICK I can't draw hair. That sucks, because a lot of my characters have LONG hair... and just hair in general.
