Oh gosh, dial-up sucks! I can't stand it! It's going to eat me alive!

In other news, I can't type on my grandma's keyboard.
The flight up was okay. Mom and I had lunch in the airport then hung out for a while. There was no line at security so we talked a bit before I left. Got on the plane, sat next to a guy in cowboy duds (complete with a hat!) and did nothing for the whole flight up. There was a 15-20 minute delay at the beginning because some system crashed and affected a ton of planes at Sky Harbor.
Anyway, I'm in Washington! The first thing I noticed was the tempreature. Chilly compared to Arizona. And then I saw that everything was green! Even the trunks of trees. That's odd for someone who spent 19 years in the desert.

So, my room is kinda small. Doesn't bother me though. I've got a TV with cable in there and a built-in VHS player. No DVD player, I'll have to wait for my computer to get that. It should be coming up soon.
Ooooh, but I may not have to use dial-up for much longer! My grandmas got comcast cable and should be able to get high speed internet. My mom is willing to pay for it for me, I didn't even ask for it. That was her idea, and part of it has to do with keeping in touch better. The rest is because it's part of my "going away to college" fund or something. She calls it an investment, like if she were to buy me a car or small truck. She'd be investing in my future or something. Isn't my mom awesome?

I don't have my camera so I can't take pictures of anything. I don't know where it ended up but I do have it's battery charger. Yep. I can charge the battery (that I don't have) and not-take pictures!
So, my mom called the college and asked if I would have to see an advisor. I guess because some colleges want you to see one even if you know what you have to take and stuff. I don't, and because she called I didn't have to. I don't like talking on the phone, even to my sister and stuff. Unless I've got a good topic in mind.


QUESTION! Are butterfly knives legal in Washington? I went to a mall with my Aunt and cousin yesterday for dinner and some glow-in-the-dark mini golf (I won!) and we stopped at a knife shop on the way out. No butterfly knives. Hmm.
